Our 6th graders are brand new to Boston Green Academy, and their Green Apple Day of Service project will help introduce them to what it means to think sustainably. All of our 6th graders will learn about the importance of recycling and then will make Marker Recycling Baskets for all the 6th-12th grade teachers at Boston Green Academy. They will then create a plan to collect the markers at the end of each term. They will collect data on how much plastic they divert from the landfill and present at the end of the year.
