Due to Safer at Home restrictions, this year's project was just my 9 year old son and I working at home. We went to WWf's wildclassroom.org and decided to learn about the endangered tiger. The toolkit provided for free on the website offered a wealth of information about tigers in general, why they have become endangered, and things we can do in our every day life to help restore their native habitat. The toolkit offered several activities to complete. My son's favorite activity was designing and building a tower first using tape, then trying to build the same tower without tape. The take away from this activity was that duplicating a tower (or ecosystem) is nearly impossible when you remove a key component, like tape (or the tiger).
