Bio: 
Georgetta Johnson is a science teacher in the Detroit Public Schools Community District for 18 years. Georgetta has a very strong passion for teaching science and helping develop the whole child by means of hands-on activities. She has worked as an elementary grade teacher and middle school teacher, teaching all-subjects to students. Georgetta attended University of Detroit Mercy and obtained first her Associates Degree, Legal Assistant, then pursued Business Administration where she obtained her Bachelors Degree. She further went on to Wayne State University where she was certified in Education and ultimately obtained her Master’s Degree in Science of Education. While attending Wayne State University, Georgetta pledged with Alpha Kappa Psi Fraternity. Georgetta continues to immerse herself in new endeavors and effective pedagogy to enhance her skills as a master teacher of science. Georgetta Johnson currently lives in Detroit Michigan.
